Olympics: India's team consists of 114 athletes and 108 officials

 For the Tokyo Olympic Games, India has announced a team of 114 athletes and 104 officials with a total of 9 members. Out of the players in the Indian team, there are 3 male players and 3 female players. In the first phase, 20 players-officials will leave India for Tokyo on July 15.


Bhavani Devi's mother has been included in the Indian Olympic team as the manager of the fencing team. Table tennis player Manika Batra's personal coach Sanman Paranjape and badminton player Sai Pranit's Indonesian coach have also been included in the Indian team. Bhavani's mother C.A. Sudarraman Ramani and Parajampane have been included in the squad as extra officials. Due to which their expenses will be borne not by the government but by the Indian Olympic Association.


Sindhu's Korean coach Park Tsang and physio have been included in the official team. Sania and Ankita's coach Zeeshan Ali did not get a place in the Olympic team. Mary Kom's coach Chhotelal Yadav is in India's squad for Tokyo, but Amit Panghal's coach Anil Dhankar has been dropped.
