'Mini-lockdown' extended in Gujarat for another week, find out the date extended
Following a core committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, the curfew and additional limited restrictions in 36 cities, including eight metros, from 8 pm to 6 am have been extended for another week.

Succeeded in reducing cases: CM
The Chief Minister made it clear in the meeting that Gujarat has succeeded in reducing the number of cases of Koro transition control.
The number of corona cases in the state has come down from 14,500 on April 27 to 11,000 yesterday.

Night curfew and limited restrictions remain unchanged for one more week
The Chief Minister made it clear that the number of coroner cases in Gujarat has not increased. But considering the prevalence of Koro transition across the country, the Gujarat government has decided to keep the night curfew and additional limited restrictions for one more week to keep all the citizens of the state safe and at least sympathetic.
The night curfew in 36 cities, including 8 metros in the state, which has been in place till May 11, 2021, will remain in force for seven days from 12 May 2021 to 18 May 2021 from 8 pm to 6 am every day.

Collaborative efforts paid off
The Chief Minister thanked the small and big traders, industries and the people of the state for their cooperation in implementing additional restrictions, including night curfew, to curb the transmission of corona in the state. The joint efforts of all have paid off and the number of Corona cases is declining.
