Lockdown may take place in Gujarat after May 5, corona chain will be broken in cities, village super spreader will be curbed
A number of restrictions have been imposed in 29 cities of the state in Gujarat, starting from the night curfew till May 5, amid the Corona riots. From the courts to Gujarat’s traders, doctors and the general public are also demanding a lockdown.
Under these circumstances, a lockdown could be imposed across Gujarat for a week from May 5 to quickly break the chain of corona in Gujarat and remove the medical emergency that has arisen. Serious consideration has also been found for it.

Medical emergencies like shortage of beds, oxygen, medicine, injections in the hospital have been going on for the last few days amid coroner’s disease in Gujarat. Despite a curfew in 29 cities across the state, the number of cases has dropped dramatically, with more than 150 deaths a day. The condition of beds in hospitals is also deteriorating.

Instead of extending restrictions and night curfew in Gujarat after May 5, lockdown may be imposed as corona cases are increasing at a jet speed in cities as well as villages. The reason for this is that due to the absence of lockdown, the people have become unconscious and have started reaching out to the villages in the city and super spreaders are increasing in Gujarat.
Instruct BJP leaders to arrange food for the poor
One of the reasons for the possibility of a lockdown in Gujarat is that BJP leaders in Gujarat have been instructed to help the poor by arranging meals in every area, so that even if a lockdown occurs, food and meals can be provided to the poor.

The Center may decide on the lockdown today
◾ Currently, more than three and a half lakh cases of corona are coming up across the country. This figure is higher than the number of cases received in a single day in about 50 countries. Members of the Covid Task Force have called for a complete lockdown in the country to break the fast-moving transition chain in the second wave.
◾ These members include the AIIMS and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
◾ The central government may take a decision on the issue on Monday. Sources told Bhaskar that both the members have been making these demands for a week. The ICMR has appealed that the peak of the second wave of corona is yet to come. The organization says a full two-week lockdown is necessary to break the transition chain in such a situation.
