Schools from Std. 1 to 9 closed during the second wave of Corona

Schools from Std. 1 to 9 closed in Gujarat due to increasing cases of corona, online classes for students started

  • Std. 1 to 9 schools closed in Gujarat

  •  Education work will remain closed until further notice

  •  Decision taken at the Core Committee meeting

Orders have been issued to close schools in Gujarat.  The core committee has ordered closure of schools from Std. 1 to 9 due to increasing cases of corona.  However, online classes will be started for students to study.  Offline education is currently closed.  Corona cases are being seen in children in Gujarat.  The core committee meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.  In which an important decision has been made.  This decision of the Core Committee has been taken keeping in view the prevailing Corona transition situation in the state.  All standard 1 to 9 schools in the state will be closed.


 

School work will be closed from Monday 5 April.  And other instructions that the teaching work will be discontinued until the order is received.  All government and private schools in the state have to implement these instructions.  Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has taken this decision in the wider interest of the students of the state and with the objective of controlling the transition to corona.

Corona transmission among children increased in Ahmedabad

 Importantly, cases of corona have also been seen in children for the past few days.  Six children under the age of 11 have tested positive for corona at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.  Concerns have been raised by doctors and parents about the growing number of coronaries in children.  A separate ward has been set up to treat children infected with corona.  Separate arrangements have been made for positive mothers and children.  "Pregnant women have to be careful now," said Dr Rajneesh Patel.
