The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a notification on its official website that the online CBT-1 exam has been canceled due to the Assembly elections in Assam. With this decision of the board, the examination to be held in the fifth phase in the state will not be held on March 27. Exams for each of the remaining days will be held on the scheduled date only.
Students who appear for the March 27 exam will now take the exam in the sixth phase. The Railway Board will inform about this soon. Candidates have been sent information on their registered number, mobile number and email id. The new date of the exam will be announced on the official website only.
Fifth phase examination for 19 lakh candidates
The first phase of online examination (CBT 1) for recruitment on Railway NTPC post is being conducted in different phases from December 2020. The fifth phase exam will continue till March 27. About 19 lakh candidates are to appear for the exam. The next phase exam date may be announced in the coming weeks. Admit card for the exam will be announced 4 days before the exam.
