According to NHA CEO Ramsevak Sharma, PVC cards are no longer mandatory for availing the Lifetime Scheme. Beneficiaries who have old cards will get the benefit of the scheme. The PVC card will make it easier for health officials to identify the beneficiaries. At the same time, the beneficiaries will be able to get health services without corruption.
