Important meeting held by the Prime Minister on the 12th standard board examination
Prime Minister Modi has decided to cancel the standard 12 examination.
The PM's meeting was attended by Union Ministers Amit Shah, Prakash Javadekar, Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Nirmala Sitharaman and several officials from the Ministry of Education. The meeting discussed suggestions and options related to examination planning.
Student safety is our priority
At the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the safety of students is our priority. It is not a good idea to put stress on children during coronation.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is against the planning of standard 12 examination.
Kejriwal tweeted that children and parents are very worried about the 12th standard exam. They want the standard 12 exam not to take place without vaccination. "I appeal to the central government to cancel the 12th exam," Kejriwal said.
Marks are given to the students based on the assessment based on the last performance.
The Union Ministry of Education had sought suggestions from the states and other parties on the examination.
The government has informed the Supreme Court that a decision on the standard 12 examination will be taken by June 3.
