The state meteorological department has forecast unseasonal rains in some parts of the state, including Saurashtra, due to thunderstorm activity. The meteorological department has forecast normal weather conditions for the next two days.

The meteorological department said that normal rains are likely in some districts of the state for the next two days as well as big cities like Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara and Surat may have to endure the heat wave.

Monsoon may come in Gujarat from 15th to 20th June

The south-west monsoon will arrive in Kerala between May 26 and June 1.  Monsoon is forecast to be normal this year.  According to the meteorological department, the southwest monsoon reached Andaman Nicobar on Friday morning, which may lead to light to moderate rains in Nicobar.

The temperature rose in cities
